Cox offers subscribers a series of plans based on internet usage and activities. I have been a cox Communications customer for over 5 years. On May 22, 2017 or May 22, 2017, I called technical support because I had a technical problem with my DVR box. The representative told me without being asked about a loyalty package that she wanted to offer me because I had been a customer for more than 5 years. Finally, I was quoted with $124.99 plus taxes for Internet, television and telephone service. That would equate to a reduction of about $40 in the bill I paid for TV and internet. After several calls with managers, they finally agree to reduce my cable service to the standard and remove the extra channels as long as I return the fancy cable box. So I`m going to return the cable box, but there are two billing cycles and nothing changes my monthly bill price. .
